mikrofiltracja oleju

microfiltration service for industrial oils

Oil microfiltration refers to the process of removing microscopic particles of contaminants from oil used in machinery and equipment. Contaminants such as metal filings, dust, sludge and other particles can adversely affect machine performance, lead to breakdowns and shorten oil life.

Oil microfiltration is a precision filtration process in which oil is passed through microscopic holes that remove very small particles such as bacteria, viruses and other contaminants that are smaller than 0.1 micrometers. Oil microfiltration aims to remove these particles, ensuring cleaner and more efficient operation of machinery.

oil microfiltration – why is it worth it?

  • Effective removal of contaminants
Oil microfiltration enables the effective removal of microscopic dirt particles, such as metal filings, dust, sand and other particles. This makes the oil cleaner and more free of substances that can cause damage and breakdown of machinery.
  • Improving machine productivity
Removing contaminants from the oil has a positive effect on machine performance. Cleaner oil provides better lubrication, reduces friction and wear, resulting in increased productivity and longer equipment life.
  • Protection against mechanical damage
Contaminants present in the oil can cause wear on mechanical components such as bearings, seals and drive components. Oil microfiltration minimizes the risk of mechanical damage, leading to fewer breakdowns and the need for repairs.
  • Reduction in maintenance costs
The use of microfiltration of oil reduces maintenance costs for machinery. Cleaner oil means less risk of failure, which translates into lower costs for repairs, parts replacement and production downtime.
  • Increase oil life
Oil microfiltration removes contaminants that can shorten oil life. This allows the oil to be used for a longer period of time, leading to financial savings and reducing the amount of oil used.

Regular use of oil microfiltration can significantly reduce the risk of mechanical damage, increase oil life, improve system performance, and reduce maintenance and repair costs.

ecol-nanofiltracja

oil nanofiltration

industrial nanofiltration of oils

We perform nanofiltration for any type of oil, regardless of its base (mineral or synthetic) application (hydraulic systems, gears, lubricating systems), or its viscosity.

This type of filtration is particularly recommended for hydraulic systems with servo valves and proportional valves, where the oil cleanliness class and water content affect the reliable operation of the systems. Nanofiltration of oil works especially well when it concerns oils working in strategic equipment or those for which we have no reserve, e.g. turbine control systems, main gears of production lines, lubricating systems of main compressors.

Similar to microfiltration of oil, nanofiltration of oil uses filter membranes; however, the openings in these membranes are even smaller than in microfiltration.

It is possible to perform the service also in an explosion hazard zone, thanks to the use of nanofiltration units in the ATEX-certified version.

Nanofiltration is not used for liquids containing water as an essential component, such as HFA, HFB or HFC liquids, water-based machining coolants, etc.

benefits of nanofiltration

benefits of oil nanofiltration:

organizational benefits

prevention of machine downtime associated with machine failures due to deposition of aging products (varnish), ability to dissolve sludge already deposited inside the system

technical benefits

the possibility of extending the life and improving the reliability of equipment overloaded or operating in adverse conditions by maintaining a better cleanliness class and lower water content in the oil

economic benefits

prevention of financial losses caused by unplanned production stoppages, reduction of repair costs and reduction of costs resulting from the purchase of new lubricants (extension of oil life)

environmental benefits

reduction in the generation of waste (used oil, oil packaging, cleaners, etc.) associated with longer lubricant life
