The warm atmosphere was provided not only by the beautiful aura, but also by the wonderful emotions that accompanied each of the runs. On Saturday, August 12, the athletes competed in the 85 cc European Cup, where the Danes proved unrivaled.
For us, the most important was Sunday’s struggle, when the International Championship for the Ecol President’s Cup was held. Unmatched turned out to be the competitor of the hosts, Rybek Rybnik, Franciszek Szczyrba. Janek Konzack was second, and Tyler Haupt finished on the third step of the podium. The fifth place went to a Rybnik resident Krzysztof Harendarczyk. In 14th place was the only girl – Rybnik’s Maja Jona.
On Tuesday, the Andrzej Skulski Memorial (founder of Rybki Rybnik) was held at the Chwałowice stadium. Ecol was the title sponsor of the entire event.
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the event and cheered on the young students of speedway art.
