Ecol is a member of the Bulgarian Association in the Atomic Industry

Ecol Sp. z o.o. has become a full member of the Bulgarian Association in the Atomic Industry (BAAI) – an organisation bringing together entities working to promote the development and safety of the Bulgarian nuclear sector.

This membership opens up new opportunities for our company to collaborate with businesses and institutions involved in the nuclear energy sector. It represents a further step in developing Ecol’s expertise and services for the nuclear sector, particularly in the areas of oil management, diagnostics and equipment reliability maintenance.

Ecol for the nuclear energy sector

On 7 September 2026, Ecol was awarded the certificate Full Member of the Bulgarian Association in the Atomic Industry. Joining an organisation bringing together entities associated with the nuclear industry strengthens Ecol’s presence in the nuclear energy sector and opens up new opportunities for cooperation in the Bulgarian market.

For many years, our company has been developing technologies and services that support the reliability and safety of critical industrial equipment. These capabilities are also applied in nuclear installations, where oil quality, the cleanliness of oil systems and proper lubrication are crucial for the correct operation of machinery.

Ecol’s offering for the nuclear sector includes, amongst other things:

lubrication services for turbogenerators, pumps and heavy rotating machinery,
hydrodynamic flushing and cleaning of oil systems,
chemical and foam cleaning of heating, cooling and process systems,
oil diagnostics and monitoring of machinery condition,
laboratory testing in a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025,
Total Fluid Management (TFM) solutions,
online oil parameter monitoring,
supply of specialist turbine oils and lubricants for use in demanding conditions.

Membership of the BAAI will enable Ecol to participate more actively in the Bulgarian nuclear industry, exchange experiences and develop relationships with companies and organisations involved in the nuclear energy sector.

Joining the Bulgarian Association in the Atomic Industry is a further step in establishing the company’s position as a provider of specialist services for the energy and industrial sectors, where the reliability of equipment and the quality of maintenance are of paramount importance.

About the Bulgarian Association in the Atomic Industry

The Bulgarian Association in the Atomic Industry (BAAI) was founded on 9 May 2019 as an independent non-governmental organisation whose aim is to pool the resources and potential of entities operating in the Bulgarian nuclear sector. As a voluntary, independent and apolitical association, the BAAI bases its activities on the principles of voluntarism, equality, partnership, responsibility and compliance with the law.

One of BAAI’s main areas of activity is developing business contacts and supporting the formation of consortia, joint ventures and other forms of cooperation between specialised companies and organisations in the nuclear and energy sectors in Bulgaria and abroad. The aim of these activities is the joint implementation of projects and investments related to nuclear energy and associated sectors.

Ecol’s membership of BAAI enables the company to participate actively in this community, develop relationships with players in the nuclear market and seek new opportunities for collaboration on projects relating to the reliability, maintenance and diagnostics of energy infrastructure.
