Ecol is a member of the Steel Industry and Trade Chamber (HIPH)

Ecol Sp. z o.o. has been accepted as a member of the Steel Industry and Trade Chamber (HIPH). The decision was made by the Chamber’s Management Board pursuant to a resolution dated 5 January 2026. Membership opens up new opportunities for cooperation with the steel and metallurgical sector in Poland.

Ecol becomes a member of the Steel Industry and Trade Chamber

Ecol Sp. z o.o. has been admitted to the Steel Industry and Trade Chamber (HIPH). The decision was made by the Chamber’s Management Board at its meeting on 5 January 2026, pursuant to Resolution No. 1/2026.

The resolution was adopted after considering the membership application submitted by Ecol Sp. z o.o. on 2 December 2025. According to its content, membership came into effect on the date of the Management Board’s decision.
Joining the group of companies associated with HIPH is an important step for Ecol in the further development of its cooperation with the steel and metallurgical sector in Poland.

Membership in the Chamber opens up opportunities for active participation in industry initiatives, exchange of knowledge and experience, and joint action to strengthen the competitiveness and position of the metallurgical sector. Ecol intends to engage in the work of the Chamber, sharing its experience in the field of technical, diagnostic and industrial services.


about the Steel Industry and Trade Chamber

The Steel Industry Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HIPH) is an industry organisation of economic self-government, bringing together steel companies, cooperating industries and institutions related to the steel industry. The Chamber was established in response to the need to integrate the steel sector in the early 1990s.

The founding meeting of HIPH took place on 12 July 1991, and on 27 August 1991, the Chamber obtained legal personality. In international relations, the organisation uses the name Polish Steel Association. HIPH operates on the basis of the Act on Chambers of Commerce and its own statutes.

Objectives and tasks of the Chamber

The key tasks of HIPH include:

  • representing the interests of member companies vis-à-vis public administration and domestic and foreign institutions,
  • participating in the process of reviewing and drafting legislation concerning the economy,
  • supporting cooperation between Chamber members,
  • conducting market analyses, training, consulting and publishing activities,
  • supporting the modernisation, restructuring and development of industries related to metallurgy.
