Method description:
A copper plate in the presence of the test sample is thermostated in accordance with the requirement of the relevant standard. The plate after the test is compared with the standard and the corrosion level is determined on a scale of 1 to 4 and subcategories a to e.
Interpretation of results:
The test can be used to determine whether the oil or grease has or has lost the required copper corrosion resistance under certain conditions.
