RULER – Remaining Useful Life Evaluation Routine.
Using the voltammetry technique, a diagram is plotted which, with reference to a reference curve, indicates the amount of antioxidant inhibitors remaining in the oil.
Interpretation of results:
This is the only method that allows the determination of levels of all types of antioxidants in oils. We use this method when using amine and phenolic additive technology in oils. Oil oxidation cannot be stopped, it can only be slowed down. Degradation of antioxidants dramatically accelerates oil oxidation.
