Expert competence at a world-class level – first Polish recipients of LLA II

We are pleased to announce that Emilia Chlodek, Darina Węglorz, Agnieszka Muras-Lipok, Anna Wowk, Katarzyna Gaszka and Marta Łatacz are the first people in Poland to have earned the prestigious Level II Laboratory Lubricant Analyst (LLA II) certificate, issued by the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML). This is a tremendous achievement that demonstrates exceptional competence and commitment in the field of oil diagnostics and maintenance.

We are proud to share this news and, at the same time, inspire others to acquire new competences in this rapidly growing field.

What is LLAII?

The LLA II (Level II Laboratory Lubricant Analyst) certificate is an international document certifying advanced competence in laboratory oil analysis and machine condition diagnosis. To obtain it, the candidate must have at least 2 years of professional experience (minimum 2,400 hours of practice), 48 hours of specialised training and pass an examination consisting of 100 questions. The certificate is issued by ICML – International Council for Machinery Lubrication.

ICML certification is now one of the most important international standards in the field of oil diagnostics and maintenance, and achieving the title of Laboratory Lubricant Analyst is confirmation of high professional competence.

training for laboratory staff

Obtaining the first LLA II certificate in Poland was preceded by a training course held in early June with Ecol laboratory staff. The programme prepared for the international LLA I and LLA II certification exams, issued by ICML. The class was conducted by Jose I. Ciria – head of the Eibar OCM Lab in the Bureau Veritas Group, a certified ICML specialist (MLA I, II & III, LLA II, VPR, VIM). He was supported by Jorge Alarcon, an expert in machine reliability and condition monitoring with links to the energy, industrial and wind sectors. The training combined theory and practice, enabling participants to gain knowledge in line with ICML requirements and prepare for the exam at the highest level.

further plans
