Polish Chamber of Railways

The Polish Chamber of Railways is an economic self-government body operating as a non-profit institution, which brings together entities related to the railway market. Established in 1999 under the Act on Economic Chambers, the Chamber currently brings together over 460 entities and focuses on representing and protecting the interests of its members, as well as supporting the development of rail transport in Poland.

The Chamber’s activities include organising thematic conferences, seminars, economic missions, training courses and workshops, as well as participating in trade fairs such as TRAKO, INNOTRANS, ENERGETAB, EXPOPOWER and ENERGETICS. The Polish Chamber of Railways also publishes a bimonthly magazine, Raport Kolejowy, featuring interviews, opinions and reports on industry events, and provides consulting, advisory, market research and domestic and international promotion services.

Over the course of 25 years of operation, the Chamber has become a recognisable brand and a key player in the rail transport market, connecting companies, scientific institutions and government representatives. It cooperates with, among others, the PKP Group, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Railway Transport Office and the Railway Institute.

The accession of Ecol Sp. z o.o. to the Polish Chamber of Railways is an important step towards strengthening the company’s cooperation with the rail transport sector and developing its expertise in the railway industry.
