Wojciech Majka joins the EEC Members

On Wednesday, 26 June this year, a meeting of EEC Members was held on the top floor of Vitkac in Warsaw. During the June meeting, there was an official enlargement of EEC Members with further members. Among the 10 newcomers, there was also Wojciech Majka, President of the Management Board of Ecol Sp. z o.o.

What is EEC Members?

EEC Members is a prestigious business community of Polish business leaders, actively participating in the creation of the largest and most effective economic event in Central Europe – the European Economic Congress.

EEC Members connects participants and partners of the European Economic Congress, offering them an ongoing opportunity to develop business contacts and participate in dialogue with government, business support institutions and politicians influencing the economy.

EEC Members are individuals and companies who, as participants and partners of EEC, have contributed to the success of the Congress. They are business leaders, entrepreneurs and managers of renowned companies from the private and public sectors, representing various industries. EEC Members observe the highest ethical standards and have a significant impact on the development of the economy in Poland.

The June event was attended by former Prime Minister and still, until 15 July this year, MEP Jerzy Buzek. As it was written on wnp.pl:

Poland has a special opportunity as it will be the first full Presidency in the new term – said Jerzy Buzek. From 1 January, strategies will be formulated and all this will later be reflected in the EU budget. Our meetings among EEC Members may have an impact on what the Polish Presidency will look like.

The meeting provided an opportunity to summarise the 16th edition of the European Economic Congress (EEC) and to present plans for the next edition in 2025.
