1. Expanding the scope of analysis

In 2024, our laboratory has added new research capabilities:

• Gas chromatograph – allows quantification of the fuel content of engine oils.
• Apparatus for testing dispersant properties – allows assessment of soot levels, detection of glycol, fuel and other impurities (qualitatively).
• ICP spectrometer – new equipment for the analysis of elements in refrigeration fluids.

2. New technologies: Smart Ecol application

We have introduced the new version of the Smart Ecol application, which simplifies the process of registering samples and accessing reports. To use Smart Ecol:

3. 3.Use conveniently: record samples, view reports – also offline and without paper forms.

3. Quality and standards

1. We have once again successfully passed an audit conducted by the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA), confirming the performance of tests and measurements in accordance with recognised methods and standards, as well as the reliability, precision and credibility of the results.

2. Our entire team of diagnosticians can boast of passing the exam and obtaining ICML certifications: Machine Lubricant Analyst MLA I. More than half of the team additionally holds the MLA II certification level.

4. Cooperation with customers

2024 was a time of intense industry meetings for us:

• We participated in a total of 46 trade fairs, conferences and meetings.
• We gave many presentations, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• We have had many inspiring conversations that set the stage for our development.

5. Number of tests carried out

In 2024, we conducted 501,808 tests.

The average turnaround time for a standard order (from sample handover to finished report) was 4 working days (for express analyses it is 24 hours).

The most frequently performed tests in 2024 are: elemental content by wear metals, additives and impurities by ICP and RDE methods. We publish a list of all the tests we perform on our website:

6. We form a close-knit team

We also invariably form a close-knit team that not only works together, but also supports each other. This is something we could write in every annual summary 😊
