The energy dependence of the formation of individual gases is shown in the diagram. These relationships form the basis of the DGA method.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"post__header heading heading--line\">From analysis to diagnosis\u2026<\/h3>\n<p class=\"post__paragraph\">Internationally recognised diagnostic methods and algorithms such as Michel Duval\u2019s triangles and pentagrams, methods based on Rogers, Doernenburg coefficients, IEC, IEEE, Cigre materials and scientific publications are used to make an accurate diagnosis of the operating condition of the equipment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"post__paragraph\">In order to ensure the highest quality of testing performed, Ecol\u2019s Oil Laboratory has a\u00a0dedicated sampling system, which allows samples to be taken and safely transported to the laboratory without the fluid being tested coming into contact with Element of the month<\/h3>\n<p class=\"post__paragraph\"><b>Oxygen (O, Latin oxygenium)<\/b> \u2013\u00a0 is a\u00a0colourless and odourless gas and is the most widespread element on Earth \u2013\u00a0the oxygen content of its crust is 46.4%. Oxygen in its free state occurs as two-atom molecules, O2, and three-atom molecules, ozone, O3. Oxygen is a\u00a0paramagnet. Liquid oxygen is blue in colour. <\/p>\n<p class=\"post__paragraph\">Oxygen is included in a\u00a0number of industrially important chemical compounds, such as:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"post__list post__list--nonordered\">\n<li class=\"post__list-item\">water,<\/li>\n<li class=\"post__list-item\">carbon dioxide,<\/li>\n<li class=\"post__list-item\">oxoacids,<\/li>\n<li class=\"post__list-item\">base,<\/li>\n<li class=\"post__list-item\">organic compounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"post__paragraph\">It is also a\u00a0component of most compounds of biological importance. Organic acids, esters and alcohols have been used in a\u00a0wide range of lubricating products.<\/p>\n<p class=\"post__paragraph\">Oxygen is a\u00a0highly electronegative element and, as a\u00a0result, the molecules of hydrocarbon oxidation products exhibit high polarity, increasing the ability of oils to form emulsions and dissolve water.<\/p>\n<p class=\"post__paragraph\">In diagnostic practice, oxidation products of oils are an important indicator of the ageing processes taking place. Their content is related to indicators such as water content, acid number, interfacial tension, oxidation, DGA and others.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t      <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t      \t\t\t\t\t
